Companies: Just Blog It!

A blog does a whole lot of good for a brand’s online presence. I’m putting together a bunch of the most important reasons, in my opinion:
Brand and perception enhancement
- Enhanced brand image
Repeated contact through your blog helps remind readers about your company, your vision, products and what you stand for. - Competitive differentiator
There is no better way to convey time-specific, relevant info that is unique to your company or product. This gives your company’s image a differentiating edge and makes you stand out from competition - Credibility
Over time, your blog will be perceived as a reliable, authentic source of information that your customers and readers will enjoy. - Humanize things
A blog gives you the chance to humanize the communication process. It allows people to know that there’s a real human being, with a personality who is interested in connecting with them. At Sulmoz, we take special care to establish this aspect within your blog.
Engaging your customers, investors and employees
- Announce latest launches and enhancements through your blog:
If you offer a service or product that gets updated frequently, then use your blog to talk about it – how it evolved, what it does better etc. You can walk your customers through the entire process and provide support right there. This develops a more intimate, interactive platform to get closer to your customers. - Organizational changes are best addressed through blogs too:
Nothing better than getting news directly from the horse’s mouth. Both employees and the outside world get the real dope without any scope of misinterpretation or mediation. - Feedback and support:
You can have a dialogue going with all those who leave comments on your blog. Some will rave. Some will rant. Either way, you can let them (and others) know your standpoint there, for everyone to see.
Other benefits:
- Easy crawling by search engines:
Blogs are sniffed out much faster than website content. They are dynamic and constantly updated, making them fresh and search engine friendly
There’s also a whole bunch of reasons why a company should not blog, but that post for another sunny day!
